Fashion Week has since passed and like that Migos anthem ‘Bad and Boujee’ that has continued to make up about a third of my random car karaoke sessions through traffic, David Koma’s Fall/Winter ready to wear collection that recently descended the runway has seemingly threatened (and easily succeeded) to be the latest earworm in my life. The dexterous juxtaposition of meticulously sculptured pieces over models who spend more time eating burgers than they do lifting weights is brilliant. Perhaps even ground breaking. And it’s no mean fit!
Coveting shame-free through this collection, I was most certainly awestruck and quite possibly emotional for one of two reasons 1. I may never come close enough to his pieces to actually experience an all round mind blowing, artery blockage, near death experience to Fashion Heaven and 2. After a two hour workout and a recent diagnosis from the Weighing Scale over at Nairobi Hospital, I’m content with a fish and chips diet for the next decade because gaddamnit! A girl just can’t win :O

Jenna Dewan Tatum and her body might just be a demigod or the epitome of sorcery but the fact remains her ability to embody Koma’s pieces and so effortlessly at that is (for lack of a better phrase) #GOALS.
